Nandi Hills is an hill station in Chikkaballapur district, Karnataka. This place is around 60 km from Bangalore City and 20+ km from Bangalore International Airport (Devanahalli).
This hill got its name bcoz of the fact that it looks like a Sleeping bull (bull == nandi). Famous 'Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple' which was built in earlier 9th century is here. This hill station also houses a fort built by Tipu.
Nandi Hills is one of the unique place in Karnataka which offers paragliding activity.
